Scailable joins NVIDIA Metropolis to accelerate edge AI deployment
Eindhoven — 11-04-2023 — Scailable, a Dutch deep-tech startup providing a platform for effortless edge AI deployment and maintenance, today announced it has joined NVIDIA Metropolis, a partner program focused on bringing to market a new generation of vision AI applications. NVIDIA Metropolis nurtures a rich ecosystem and offers powerful developer tools to supercharge vision AI applications that are designed to make the world’s most important spaces and operations safer and more efficient.
Scailable provides a remotely configurable, highly efficient, modular AI pipeline powered by NVIDIA accelerated computing. The Scailable AI manager can be installed on the NVIDIA Jetson edge AI platform using a simple one-line install. Next, deploying an edge AI solution simply means configuring the input sensors, selecting (or uploading) an AI model, and choosing the inference output destination. Scailable utilizes low-level NVIDIA CUDA libraries to ensure a “bare-metal” implementation of the modular pipeline that is up to 10 times faster than standard deployment methods. Scailable is also a member of the NVIDIA Inception program, which supports cutting-edge startups.
NVIDIA Metropolis — which comprises an application framework, developer tools and a partner ecosystem — makes it easier and more cost effective for enterprises, governments and integration partners to use world-class AI-enabled solutions to improve critical operational efficiency and safety problems. The NVIDIA Metropolis ecosystem contains a large and growing breadth of members who are investing in the most advanced AI techniques and most efficient deployment platforms, and using an enterprise-class approach to their solutions. Members can gain early access to NVIDIA platform updates to further enhance and accelerate their AI application development efforts. Further, the program offers the opportunity for members to collaborate with industry-leading experts and other AI-driven organizations.
“Becoming an NVIDIA Metropolis partner greatly extends our list of supported edge documents and allows us to serve more customers in creating highly performant edge AI applications. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the skilled team at NVIDIA to make edge deployment effortless and blazingly fast,” said Prof.dr. Maurits Kaptein, CEO, Scailable.

Scailable supporting Seeed NVIDIA devices
We are excited to announce support for Seeed’s NVIDIA Jetson devices. The AI manager, and all our edge AI development tools, can now readily be used on Seeed devices. As we all know, edge AI solutions often start from creative ideas to optimize business processes with AI. These ideas evolve into Proof-of-Concept (PoC) phases, where […]
From your CPU based local PoC to large scale accelerated deployment on NVIDIA Jetson Orin.
Edge AI solutions often start with a spark of imagination: how can we use AI to improve our business processes? Next, the envisioned solution moves into the Proof-of-Concept (PoC) stage: a first rudimentary AI pipeline is created, which includes capturing sensor data, generating inferences, post-processing, and visualization of the results. Getting a PoC running is […]
